Hi,

I have a G5 that i want to speed up. I run the disk utility verification but its still moderately slow. It slowed from memory when i upgraded to Leopard.

are there any programs out there that will find old files (if they have to be found) or does anyone have any suggestions.

The computer is still good. I also have a G4 12" and an ebook which i would mine speeding up a bit as well.

Any info would be appreciated as I just dont know if anything will even speed it up.

Cheers

Download a program called Main Menu and run the maintenance scripts and cleaning utilities. Leopard is faster than Tiger was and you do not give details on the memory installed in the G5.
