How do I find my current wallpaper?

I accidently deleted a picture I wanted to saved or have misplaced it. But it happens to still be my wallpaper. Where is the file located within my computer to i can get my creation back.

Try system preferneces>desktop & screen saver>desktop tab and see which folder the wallpaper is located. Then find that folder outside of system pref

when looking at the System Pref page for your Desktop, open a Finder window, and drag the thumbnail out of the Sys Pref window into Finder, and it will create a full sized copy of your wallpaper.
