I was wondering if there was a plugin or some program for macs that allows you to see animate .gif's without having to drag them into a safari browser thanks!

Try getting yourself Xee (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/19978). This is a wonderful image viewer that I (and apparently many others on these forums) use as their basic image viewer instead of Preview. It deals correctly with animated gifs with no muss, no fuss.

Thanks a bunch :headphone One more question though, how do I make Xee the default to open all my images instead of preview? Thanks again!

Thanks from me also! Seems like a good program. Is there any way to have it open from my taskbar rather then an icon on my desktop (I try and keep my desktop as clear as possible)?

Drag the icon to your Applications folder and then from the applications folder drag the icon onto your dock.

right click on a jpeg, left click "get info", in the "open with" section choose Xee in the drop down box then click the "change all" button
