I use MS Excel nearly every day of my life and have for many years. How am I just now noticing that when you select multiple cells (contiguous or not), that Excel conveniently shows you the average, count, and sum at the bottom right of the window (to the left of the zoom slider)? This is really nice! Not sure if this is a new feature or if it's been there for years, but in either case, just thought I'd mention this in case others didn't realize this.

In the older version of MS Excel (2011) it will show one of the following, selected in a drop down menu:
None
Average
Count
Count Number
Max
Min
Sum

I just right-clicked and those other options are there too. I guess I just never paid attention or felt enough "need" for this functionality that I went looking for it. Now that I know it's there, though, it's a great time-saver.
