Virtualbox worked fine on my old OS Leopard..
After upgrade 10.11.6 El Capitan it doesn't..

It tells me I need an upgrade but then responds I have the latest.. It tells me I need and extension to enable USB 2 and 3.. but when attempting to download the extension it says I have a later one installed.. do I want to DOWNGRADE..!

I then thought I should just remove Virtualbox and re-install the whole thing again.. But I can't remove or uninstall it using all the help methods given..

So maybe two questions here please..
Thanks

It's been a long time since I've used VirtualBox but I do remember that it was rather easy to remove. I suggest going direct to their forums if you have any questions about something you can not figure out on your own.

Don't bother uninstalling, just grab the latest version of VB and install it over the existing one, it will forcibly upgrade the older one and then allow you to get the newer extensions.
