    find duplicate files in Photos
I know I have several duplicate images in my Photos Folder. Is there any way I can search just my Photos folder, in Finder, to identify all jpg files? When I try to enter a path to the Photos folder, in the Finder search window, it just opens up the Photos app, and I can't see any utility in that app to find duplicates.

I have a suggestion for a possible workaround that will do the job if they are genuine duplicates but firstly are you sure? How do you know? It's unlikely that they are are 100% duplicates as, on importing, Photos will warn you that a duplicate exists. Do not whatever you do mess around with the Photos folder with anything other than Photos itself unless you want to loose everything.

Le me repeat what Sawday said, but to emphasize it:

There is an available app to detect and remove duplicate files.
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dupl...32755628?mt=12

you can then remove/merge those photos using the app through OS X itself.
