emailing Folder with apple mail.app to windows 10

using apple mail.app, when I email a folder of data to people using windows 10 they are unable to open the folder is there a way to fix that?

sorry left out system info : iMac 27 late 2015 16 gig ram OSX 10.4.2

In email, you always attach single files (even if it's a folder of files). So the receiver should've gotten a bunch of files as attachments and they can save/view it as appropriate.

Thx for your reply. They only got a folder no attachments and could not open folder.

It is interesting because I have received folders in past from windows and had no trouble with them.

Just attach the contents of the folder (hold SHIFT to select all files) and that should work.
