Lately when I start up Chrome nothing happens. I try my Homepage or any page and nothing.. When I turn off the Ad Blocker Plus it works fine except I see ads all over. I would like to have both work in perfect harmony but what should I do?

Thanks

Please tell us what versions of Mac OS X/OS X/macOS and Chrome, if Harry's suggestion doesn't work for you?

I'm currently using uBlock Origin with Chrome, no problems, here.

Same issue here, it would just say "Waiting for Adblock Plus" or something to that effect in bottom of the window and the site I was trying to load wouldn't load. Disable the extension, and everything was fine. So I removed it and went back to Ghostery which serves the same purpose. Try that.

Use Safari!

Chrome is infinitely better than Safari and every time I give Safari a try, I run back to Chrome within a day or so.

AdBlocker Ultimate works okay with Chrome. Remove AdBlock Plus and install that instead.

Switched tonight to uBlock and no troubles. I use Safari once in a while but for me Chrome is better.

Thanks everyone

I just tried switching to Chrome as Safari 9.1.3 just keeps messing up on too many pages and I just added "Adblock", and it works just fine for my use.

If you're using Chrome, the usual place to get Ad blockers or extensions is from the Chrome store. As long as extensions to Chrome come from the Chrome store, they should be compatible.
