Gosh, Patrick, with two of them you can never NOT do something. I deliberately don't have one because I can then still use the excuse...

Gheese, now I can't change or delete them. Odd.

Oh well, I'll just leave them here and maybe someone can use them.

I found there are quite a few recommended Mac OS "Reminder" replacement applications out there, but this cute little menu item only "Speedy Reminder.app" uses the existing Mac Reminder.app, but it's $5-$6 via the app store only it looks like:

Patrick, if you can find the time and patience, would you mind sending me a PM on how you use "Speedy Reminder"?

You could post this here, but I suspect the other members might find it unhelpful or think me even dumber than I am alreadyO:)

Just in case somebody comes here because they can't get Siri to see a "where" Reminder, the fix was to go to Settings>General>Reset and reset the Location & Privacy settings. Once done, Siri should work, but you do have to give permission again for any and all apps that use location. The good news is the as you invoke them, they will pop up a message saying it needs access, so it's not a terrible thing to have to do it. I did go through what I knew used location and fixed them, but as they pop up, I'll eventually get back to where I was, but with Siri working this time.

I'll just post here Ian in case others were wondering, but the fact is I don't even use Speedy Reminder.app, it was just a quick menu access type utility I came across to Reminders as some others are to iCal or Calendar.app.

Actually, I think there are some out there that can access both with an either/or type choice, but I would have to do some googling and look ups to be sure.

Good to know thanks Jake, even though it's too advanced for me to use, but it sure sounds awfully familiar to setting up a whole bunch of new sites and access permissions when having Little Snitch.app installed and enabled. :Smirk:

Thanks Again Everyone for your help with the Calendar problem and for your helpful ideas & suggestions.

I've been working with Reminders quite a bit lately and it has been 100% reliable about giving notices. All I have to do now is actually do the items that are on the notices.

I hope you all enjoy this day!
Paul
