Filemaker Pro user (version 11) looking for simple/inexpensive Database app.

I've periodically used Filemaker Pro for years but I'm way behind on updates and I don't want to invest the money to upgrade. My db needs are simple and I'm sure a simple flat file db would be fine. Suggestions please. I'm looking for simple entry and ability to setup different entry and viewing screens. Single user on a single Mac.

I'm like Bob as well, but maybe have a look at some of the choices here using "database" as a search criteria. At least there are some user comments and various pricing:

BTW: If you already have FMPro, do you really need all the updates??? After all it no doubt worked for your needs up to now!!

Hi.
I would suggest you take a close look at Daylite.
It is a business development database system that is very customisable.

And while doing so, maybe have a read of some user comments here, some seem to have a rather differing opinion:
