Having had my new iPhone 7 for a couple of weeks now i thought I would clean up the archived backups of my old iPhone 5s in iMazing and perform a backup of the new iPhone.
On launching iMazing I was presented with the "Update Available" box so after a quick read of the changes I downloaded and restarted.
Wow! Encrypted scheduled WiFi backups to other storage device. There are of course other new features as well as the inevitable (but optional) menu bar item as well as the "launch at startup" option (I never usually opt for these) but the archive options and the ability to backup to say, a USB External Drive would be a very valuable storage saver for those that wish to perform a daily backup I am sure. Not to mention how much faster this is than an iCloud backup.
All in all there are some great things about this update and I will be using the weekly scheduled backup via WiFi with limited archiving.
