For full disclosure, I live in Hungary, but my Mac is all in English, and all of my programs are. In fact, Word's main menu items and such not are still English. But, the templates you see when you open the program are all in Hungarian (so, instead of the template name for "Newsletter" I have "Hírlevél" which is Hungarian for the same.

Is there some reason why they changed (and as I said, the base program is still in English, no worries)? Also, as I said, Excel itself (and PowerPoint) still have their templates as before, in English.

What the deuce? And how to fix it? I admit it's minor, but it's rather annoying.

Update - I logged out and it went back to English. I logged back in, and the templates got reset to Hungarian. Very weird.

I would bet that it's looking at your present location rather than your selected language. I noticed you posted the same question over at MacRumors....

I did, hoping to gather answers! And you've given me an idea as to the why. The question then is, how to get it to look at language rather than location.

To boister your theory, I noticed that when I logged out and logged back in to Word, the page asking for my email address was in Hungarian. Then, when I filled in the address, the page asking for your password was in English. So, I'm confused. But your answer for why does make a lot of sense.
