Hey guys. I bought a relatively cheap usb playstation 2 style duel shock controller called the "Boyu Shocks Joystick". Only once I had left the stall did I read on the back that it says compatible with Windows 98/me/2000/xp/Vista, PS/PS2 machine. Does not mentioned mac!

Is this lightly to be a generic style controller that I can map to my mac or do I try to return it to the dealer?
I cant try it out unfortunately as it is in a sealer plastic packaging.

If it doesn't mention Mac specifically, it likely doesn't have the drivers. So you should likely return it.

If you cannot return it USB Overdrive might make it work. Unfortunately, no way to know without testing it.

many thanks guys.. will try and return. Any thoughts on Bluetooth over USB when I go to buy a new controller. Or is there any difference?
