The syncservcies agent runs at 90% CPU usage and I had to quit it to get my Mac to stop using the fan all the time. Does anyone know what the sync services agent does?

1. What does Sync Services have to do with Office 2011?

2. The fans running do not equal overheating.

Mac OS X: Resetting the SyncServices folder

Thats the problem with google searches. Apparently I was given the wrong information. I ran the permissions check and repaired permissions and rebooted my Mac. It has not caused the fan to not run, so I guess what I am experiencing is normal. However the fan seems to run more than when I had SL. However perhaps this may be a weather issue and not a Macbook issue.

What does this have to do with my Mac running its fan? Or is there a correlation that I am missing? No question when Outlook is running the fan seems to run far more often.

opss im sorry about outlook, it's possible outlook have a background sync activity,
but how about Microsoft Entourage sync services ? have you activated Microsoft Entourage ?
