Is there any IDE for developing application in MAC os x.?

I am very new to MAC environment. So please someone help me..!:Blushing:

The answer to this really depends on the programming language you intend to develop apps with. For instance, I use Python and create native apps and Xcode is a terrible IDE for Python (to be fair, it wasn't designed for it). What language do you intend to use?
