hi just wondering if my cd version of simcity 3000 will work on my macbook pro 2011, I'm not sure if the cd is for mac but it runs on my pc, also when i insert the cd the files come up in finder but I'm not sure. can the game be ran on my mac or not?

No, it won't. Sim City 3000 was released in 1999 and only has compatibility with the "Classic" Mac OS. It won't run on any Mac made since the switch to Intel hardware in 2006.
