Hi all,

I'm very new to all this as this is my first post. I am a student and just bought a macbook pro although i've been using macs for some time now, this is my first portable machine. I am planning on taking my macbook to class and was wondering if someone could recommend a solid note taking application. I'm big into GUI so something that looks nice would be great. I'm not against paying for the application as long as there's a free trial so I know what I'm paying for.

Thanks in advanced for all the help!

Honestly I would suggest google documents since it is free, linked to your google account so you can access it where, and share you notes with your class mates.

Re: Application Question

Google docs is great and thats what I use now. The one issue (small issue) i have with it is the interface. I was looking for something that the gui looks like a notebook.

And are you sure macbook pro's come with omnioutliner? mine didn't and when i searched for it its 39.95 for the license.

Thanks for all the help!

Skye, the Omni applications no longer come with new Macs. I also miss the games we got with Tiger. :(

Um hum.. this application is called Notebook so...I think it's along the lines of what you are looking for.

I ran a search for this in google, here click on the top hit for a nice list.
