When will the 5th Generation Ipods price drop?

Right now the 5th Generation 80gig Ipods are more expensive then the new 80 gig ipod classics. Anyone know when the price will drop for the 5th generations? Or will online stores sell them for $300+ until they sell out?

There is a chance the price would drop during the upcoming holiday season. But it is just a speculation and most likely a wrong one. :D
