Has anyone tried any of the games they offer to download for iPod yet? Your likes? Dislikes?

I downloaded Texas Hold'em. It looked like the one that would hold my attention for the longest amount of time.

Sure enough, I played it for about an hour last night when I had my computer right in front of me.

It's a really great game. Good sound, graphics, gameplay, and music. I haven't figured out a way to listen to MY music during the game, though...

The last iPod had basic games pre-installed, are these still included with the new one ? Or is it a question of buy the games or have non ?

Also how is the sound quality with the new ear buds ?

The Ipod Video has Brick, music quiz, parachute, and solitaire built-in. the new gams with itunes 7 are $4.99US (will any retailer ever just use even dollar amounts?) "New games for under $5." one whole penny under $5.

Good, couldn't find that information anywhere else so thanks. Five dollars for a game is a lot really. I mean who needs more that brick ?

It's good that the games are 4.99 otherwise i wouldn't consider it.

Yeah I bought the poker game too. Its a lot better than the one on my cellphone that I paid 6.99 for. Will be checking out the others in the coming weeks. Just dont feel like spending 45 bucks for all of em just yet.

I'm surprised there aren't many homebrew games for the Video iPod, especially... since it occurs to me that the Video iPod might have the "better" specs to it.

All I see so far are variants of the "Trivia" game. I swear I saw pictures of someone that got Doom to run on their iPod...

I bought the Golf game a few days ago. Great graphics, cool gameplay. It will keep me occupied for a while.
