Help with itunes library location

Hello
I am starting to get very low on the start up drive space on my ibook (40gb) and have aquired a external hard drive of 100gb could somebody give a really simple explanation on how to acoomplish moving 14Gbs worth of music to the new drive and how to (?)Point(?) itunes to the files? (step-by-step). I moved to Macintosh because I am not good with computers.
Any help would be great I only have about 200mbs left on the drive *yikes*

Drag and drop the entire enclosing folder from its current location (Music->iTunes) onto your external harddrive.

Then restart iTunes and point it to the new directory. (change the menu setting under iTunes->preferences->advanced->location).
