Ipod touch come with radio?

The power button on my iPod nano crapped out on me; can't shut it off or wake it from sleep. Think i'm going to get an ipod touch. Does it come with a radio or not, and if not is there any app or something that can let me listen to FM radio?

The iPod Touch does not come with an AM/FM radio, however, other nice players are available that do come with a radio. Sony makes one so do other manufacturers. Get on Amazon.com and check for players with a radio. Most of them allow for transfer of music from your computer to the player.

That makes no sense -- they put a radio in the nano, but not one in here?

Can you tell me how these apps work? Does it allow you to listen wherever you are?

I've only used a few of these types of apps but so far they have worked well.

As a general rule you can listen anywhere as long as:

1. You have a working internet connection.
2. The station you want to listen to has their content available for streaming.

If you are interested in specific stations check their website. If streamed content is offered there'a usually a help page which should get you started.

Have you done any investigation to see if you could fix the actual problem with your iPod Nano??? Or did you even want to???

Not sure if it's worth it; the power button no longer works -- there's no resistance when pushing on it; the device stays on; something inside the button assembly is broken or worn out. It's a pain to get that thing apart, and i'm not sure it's worth it to repair it.

Correction -- just looked at some vids and think I can do it myself. Will give it a go.
