My setup: 17in SD iMac G5, 1GB RAM & 12in iBook, 1.5GB RAM (Both computers standard config.)
I have a tape adapter from my CD player and i was woundering if it would work on the iPod mini. I lloked at some of the ones "made for the mini" in stores and they seem to look exactly the same. Are they??? I was hopeing i could use the one from my CD player and not have to buy something else.

Thanks

it is exactly the same thing, you can just take the one from your cd player and use it with your mini no problem. enjoy listening to your music in your car!

The only advantage to some of the "made-for-iPod/mini" models is that some of them allow you to control the iPod through your radio controls. Otherwise the regular cassette adapters work without problems. I've used an old adapter from a Sony CD player with my mini for about a year without any issues. Just remember that the iPod will not shut off automatically when the radio is off.
