Our new puppy has chewed one of my AirPods to death. If I buy a replacement 2nd hand Airpod from Ebay, will it work with the one that's left?

Maybe and maybe not. I realize that's not a suitable answer but you're speaking about ordering from eBay. How about using your Apple Care Plus that you purchased to replace the chewed AirPod?

Wow...?? Apple Care Plus would replace a dog chewed AirPod???

I've never read all the conditions and agreements as I will probably never ever get the chance to be able to use it.

That’s assuming he purchased Apple Care Plus. If he has it, Apple will replace the AirPod minus any deductible.

I can imagine some malfunctioning iDevice users feeding them to their dog to chew on to get them replaced, but I guess they don't have to do that if they have already purchased Apple Care Plus that I imagine would cover the malfunction anyway. :Smirk:

I wonder how many are actually aware of Apple's Extended Warranty Plan???

I don't do warranties. Waste of money. Over a lifetime it's cheaper to pay for repairs or replace.

But does anybody actually know if a single AirPod bought off Ebay will work with my existing AirPod?

You can have the honor of being the first to test this. Please, let us know when you find out?
