Unable to delete voicemails on iPhone X. (iOS 13.0)

One thing that came out of this débâcle is the importance of keeping all parts of the Apple ecosystem up to date.

Time and again, we hear from members that they cannot sync their iPhone, say, and it turns out that either the iOS is way ahead or way behind their macOS.

It is a pain, and expensive in some cases, to keep everything up to date; but sadly a necessity these days.

To IWT...yes, I agree, it was my fault for not updating my old MBA..that's on me. The glitch on the phone that would not allow deleting voicemails? That's on Apple IMHO.

I do wish before the all-night-long restore/fail that the Apple software would have told me at the beginning that I had 'a problem', not afterwards.

But everything came out OK in the end.....and maybe, just maybe if someone else out there has this same problem perhaps they can learn something?

This forum is still one of the friendliest places on this ever-increasing 'unfriendly' internet....and I do wish one thing. That I was knowledgeable enough to come here and chip in to help out instead of just arriving with occasional problems and getting them solved.
