A11 vs Adreno 630

Hi to everyone, do you know what's GPU is better in gaming? Adreno 630 vs A11 GPU? What's type of these GPU's serving better performance?

Since the Adreno 630 (by Qualcomm) is used in the Android system and A11 for iOS, benchmarks aren't really conclusive.

Apple A11 ARM

I guess you first need to choose which type of device you want to use; either an Android phone or an iPhone. Most benchmarks involving the chipsets that the Android system uses are usually great on paper, but in real life use, they're not any better than the ARM chips.

Why not go for something that's even faster and more powerful than the A11 or Adreno?

As far as CPU performance even the A11 is faster than anything else on the market. In GPU is seems to depend on the benchmark used for testing but it's for sure one of the fastest out there.

I do agree with Charlie, get the latest iPhones with the A12 Bionic chip. It's quite a bit faster than even the A11!

Sorry that I am writing by other profile but I can’t log in to my original profile. I react to post that I should buy iPhone with A12 but I read reviews and A12 is only about 10% faster than A11? Is it possible? So when I will play game and will have both iPhones A11 and A12 side by side, will I see difference in gaming (graphic)? However can I be sure that A11 GPU is faster than Adreno 630?

If gaming is your priority, you are looking at the TOTALLY wrong product for it. Console and PCs (running Windows) are meant for gaming. There are a handful of games on mobile devices that demand a top notch GPU to deliver impressive graphics, but nearly 100% of the games on the mobile are meant to be casual. High graphics means high CPU/GPU utilization, high utilization means short battery life and NO ONE is going to want to deal with a phone that dies in an hour after finishing some game.

I do not know were you got your benchmark info from that the A12 at most is only 10% faster. The sites I trust are with many good benchmark apps showing 30% or more.

Give us an example of a new phone that uses the Adreno 630 so I can check benchmarks and get back to you. Gaming on even a 6" phone to me is not all that fun. Too small!
