I recently replaced my iPhone6 with an iPhoneXS.

Friend of mine was interested in purchasing my iPhone6 to replace his worn out iPhone5. (He's not exactly at the leading edge of electronics.)

My carrier is Verizon while he has T_Mobile.

Any problems switching carriers?

Thanks.

I believe you will need to have Verizon unlock it, if it's not already.

But, your friend, should call T-mobile before, to get confirmation from them.

I don't believe that an iPhone 6 which was used on the T-Mobile network will work with Verizon. T-Mobile like AT&T uses GSM and their frequencies are different from Verizon which uses CDMA. Newer Verizon iPhones have both radios installed (GSM and CDMA) and so do the newer no carrier iPhones. However, your iPhone 6 is straight GSM as far as I know.
