Last time I connected my iPhone to my Mac it installed a software update and since then it won't connect to my Mac.

I've tried two wires (the one that came with it and one from my iPod) and neither work, yet they both connect to the charger without problem.

I have also checked both USB ports in my Macbook are working and they are.

I'm guessing it's something to do with the installed update - has anyone else had this problem?

I've tried rebooting both my Mac and my iPhone to no avail.

Seems to be going around. Try restoring you phone with iTunes and then reinstalling the update.

Hope this helps

Hi , first try hard booting your iphone ( hold down home and sleep buttons till it shows the apple logo ) then do the same with the iphone connected to the computer. If that doesn't work go here and see if the fix is on this page.
