I have a used wireless keyboard that I gave to my granddaughter to use with her iPad. Bluetooth pick it up but will not pair. I tried it with my wife iPad...same result. My niece was using my original wireless that came with my iMac and it works fine. Odd thing is that when the keyboard is discovered, it has the original users in it. I tried a reset as described online...still there. My name didn't show up when my niece paired my keyboard with her iPad. Any thoughts?

Diff you have your Mac “Forget this device”? It may be automatically connecting with your Mac, if it’s nearby when attempting to pair with the new device?

This is an Apple keyboard from eBay. When I try to pair with the iPad, it has the previous owners name pop up. It does give me the code. When I enter it and hit return, it comes up with Unsuccessful.

Send it back and get a refund. You should be protected by eBay buyer rules. There's something wrong with that keyboard.
