iPad Air 2 - website video problem

Hi everyone.

I have an iPad Air 2.
iOS: 9.3.1

When I visit MSN UK website http://www.msn.com/en-gb
and look at some topics and there's a video for that topic,
such as http://www.msn.com/en-gb/video/viral/cheeky-pelican-steals-fish-from-fisherman/vi-BBrNSWZ

When I click to watch the video, it doesn't play.
All I get is a black rectangle where the video is playing.

I get the same results using Safari and Firefox and Chrome.

Any ideas please?

Installed the Maxthon browser.
No change.

The videos still do not play.

No video on my old iPad 2 iOS 9.1 for those videos either. Not even the ads play but the audio works. Anyway, FWIW…

Curious how that would be helpful info. Are you comparing an iPad 2 to an iPad Air 2 (which is actually sixth gen)?

I was able to successfully open the first site on my iPhone 6S Plus (iOS 9.3.1) and an iPhone 6 (iOS 9.3.1). Attempting to open on an iPad Air 2 (iOS 9.3.1) yielded the same results as what you describe. I can hear the audio, I see the "spinning dots" indicating the video is loading, but there is no image. This is true of both the ads and the main video.

For reference, I used the same video on all three devices - the Ecuador Earthquake story.

Ignoring your rather cryptic sarcastic remark, I'd say it shows a lot of their site is FUBAR and the ads make it double annoying and an added waste of time… but you're welcome for the confirmation regardless I guess…

I wasn't being sarcastic. I was honestly trying to understand the reasoning for comparing the sixth gen iPad to the second gen for rendering video while being considerate of the fact that there's a difference in the iOS version as well. While I always appreciate as much comparative info as possible (note that I provided three hardware scenarios of my own), I wasn't sure if you were making a comparison that was different than you had intended.
