My iMac Mail is getting updated but not my iPhone. My mail settings show my correct address. What is up?

No attachment showing.

Check your icloud sharing settings on both devices. Depending on what mail provider you use, sometimes dleeting and reinstalling the app will kick start synchronisation.

That attachment which didn't come through will be useful to know what the problem is.

If you've matched your RoadRunner settings between the phone and your Mac, it should just work the same.

Be sure you are using IMAP across all of your devices.

Here’s the image. I’m regrettably on the roadrunner pop server.

Make sure the settings for Mail on your iPhone match that which you have on your iMac. There's nothing wrong with using POP mail on your phone as long as the server settings on your phone are the same as your iMac. The error message you attached seem to indicate an incorrect setting in your mail app on the phone.

They are the same. I run a test by sending an email from my iMac to my iPhone and I get bupkis on my iPhone. It reads "Checking for Mail..." at the bottom and hangs for several minutes and then reads "There was a problem..." etc. and a "Details" link which then gives me the above dialogue balloon. When I send from my iPhone I get this balloon.

Your error messages indicate either SSL is set wrong, the Port number is wrong, or the server name is incorrect. Also the server name for mobile might be different for your iPhone versus the iMac - although I have no idea why.

Just an idea - Go to Settings -> Passwords and Accounts -> tap on the name of the account -> tap on the account email address -> tap on advanced.

From what I am finding for POP settings the incoming server does NOT use SSL the server port is either 110 or 995
Outgoing settings for SMTP - no sign in needed, secure server unchecked, and ports are either 25 or 587.

I do not use Road Runner so I can not be certain what settings advanced will show you. Also everything I read suggest using IMAP over POP3 for your email settings.

Here is a link that might help: iPhone - Road Runner mail setup | Email settings

Sometimes you have to play with settings, remove and reset up and just tinker with ideas to get everyone playing nice.
