iPad mini and iPad 10.7 Photos slightly different

I’ve just noticed that the same app, Apple Photos is different on the two devices. Functionally the same, but on the mini you can view the metadata, but on the 10.7 you don’t seem to be able to.
Unless I’m missing something?

Now, I'm assuming that you have the same iPadOS installed on each device (current version 13.3) and you are using the native Photos App on both to look for the Exif information (or metadata) - correct? If so, I'm not sure why you should see this data on the Mini - Apple has limited viewing that data from w/i the Photos app - more information HERE - but there are still ways; one is using the Files App which is explained (and works - just tried); another is obtaining one of a handful of other apps which can show this data (again, see the link); I have File Browser on my iPad (11" Pro) - the app can open the Photos library and easily demonstrate the metadata (see my 3 screen captures below) - hopefully, others may explain your observations. Ok, it seems I had installed Photo Investigator on the iPad mini sometime back and forgot. Photos sees it automatically and integrates it nicely.
