Last week I bought a new HomeKit enabled SmartPlug from Koogeek, model P1. Setup was easy and it works fine controlling my outdoor Christmas lights.

When I first installed it I was notified that a firmware update was available. I went to the Koogeek app and installed the update.

But I still get a HomeKit update notice everY time it turns on. Of course, there is no update.

How do I fix this?

Contact Koogeek? I would say the updated device is not letting the app know it's updated.

You could also try the off/on on the iDevice on which the app runs. Force the App to quit totally and restart. Maybe it only contacts the device about status once?
