Anyone know why, sometimes, my MBP decides to eliminate Photos from the menu when I want to upload an image(s) to a site such as facebook? Mostly it's seamless but occasionally it will present Photo Booth images and nothing else. I click desktop or documents and back again to force it to add Photos, often several times before success.

That’s not answering my question. I can get it to work with persistence. I want to know WHY it’s happening, the cause of it happening.

Do you mean Photos disappears from the Share Menu? Or from files/locations when you try to insert an image into a Facebook posts?
Which way are you going about the process?

From the menu and not just Facebook, can happen with my Wordpress blogs, any online site where I want to pull the photo in from Photos.
