l wish my iphone 6s to remain unlocked, for ~1minute after l press the on off button. know sounds straightforward, but l dont have an option other than 'immediate', l like ~ 1minute. how do l set?
l follow steps 1 and 2 below, but only see , as attached, in screen shots:

1. Open the Settings App and navigate to General –> Passcode Lock.

2. To set the passcode lock delay, locate the button where you see Require Passcode. By default you will see “Immediately” next to Require Passcode. This means that as soon as your device locks, your passcode will be enabled. If you want to delay this, tap on the button and select After 1 minute, After 5 minutes, or After 15 minutes.

Which version of iOS are you using?

I found this "
  • Require Passcode: As soon as you lock your screen, the default for this setting will ask you to enter your passcode to unlock. If you don't want an immediate passcode requirement, change this setting. (For your own security, if you use Touch ID or Apple Pay, you can't change the immediate passcode requirement).

The two things you want are, in a sense, contradictory.

You want a biometric means of unlocking your iPhone - in your case, by fingerprint. At the same time, you want to delay the need for unlocking by x minutes.

You have only two options. One is to keep your fingerprint as the means of unlocking the device in which case, for obvious reasons, you have to keep “immediately”; or disable fingerprint and rely on your passcode.

If you choose the latter and rely on your passcode, then you can enable the delay to whatever you choose.

One or other.
