Recently I restored my iPhone SE "as new" using iTunes and now I cannot do a manual backup from iTunes because the "manual backup" button is grey colour. The iPhone is correctly working and iCloud and iTunes accounts were also correct. The computer is authorised and I even uninstalled and reinstalled again iTunes but the problem remains.

¿Any idea that can help me?

Many thanks

Did you try backing up to iCloud from the phone itself? Also, most of us here do not rely on iTunes for backups ever since Apple removed the ability to download and archive iOS apps using iTunes. I personally use "iMazing 2" to do backups and other iPhone utils. The app iMazing 2 is available from the Macworld store here in the US. Not sure if you can purchase it while in Spain?

Yes, I have done the backup from the iPhone to iCloud without problems and that's why I suspected that there was something wrong with the computer (a PC). I tried iMazing but I do not liked because it has some strange behaviour when gain access to the existing backups on the disk, I also tried iBackupBot with better results but I was afraid about the real reason why the backup don't worked using the iTunes when always worked until now.

After checking lighting cable and deactivating Bitdefender antivirus unsuccesfully I found that the problem was the user rigths when I run iTunes ¿? If I run iTunes as administrator there's no problem to backup or restore, otherwise the backup option is not available (button in grey colour). This makes me think that maybe is a good idea to use my old iMac G5 just for iPhone backups (we have 3 at home) rather than use the PC computer, hum hum....

Conclussion: In case of backup problems using iTunes on a PC copmputer better try to run it with admin rights before to think in other problems...

Okay, glad you sorted it out. I think it's safe to run as admin on your Macs as there is usually no worry about malware or viruses. Running as admin on a PC is a different story though. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. :)
