My wife and I visit one of two neighboring cities three / four times a year but rarely more than that so we don't bother memorizing directions to our destinations. It's just easier to make use of the navigation features on our phones. I prefer Apple Maps and she prefers the Google mapping app. We're comfortable but not fluent with either app so if you know the answer to these questions for either app chime in:
1. Since we usually stop at several different places when running these errands is there a way to enter the addresses for several stopping points at once and then have either program pull up directions to each of the waypoints in sequence without having to manuaally enter them at each stopping point: Feed the program addresses A, B, C, and D the night before then walk through them the next day without having to enter information.
2. Google Maps can list the steps to a destination as a series of steps in a text list that is easy to read. Can this view be duplicated with Apple Maps? If so, how?
