Since getting the iPhone XS I've had an issue with messages that I can't pinpoint and don't know how to remedy. Sometimes I'll get a message from a friend, while in an app, and pull down to respond. I hit send then get an error that it didn't go through. I go into messages and the message is there, but there's a new message with no sender name, but the body is the same as the other message. Sometimes I'll get a message on a chain and the same thing will happen. No sender name and it'll ask me if I want to report to junk. Anyone else having similar issues?

Wow that is just weird. I have the Max and have seen nothing like that. You might try resetting either the network settings or all settings. I would start with network settings first. Go to Settings -> General -> Reset and select reset network settings. If that does not work then try resetting all settings.

The last idea would be to set up the phone as new again - but that is drastic and I would give the other resets a try first.
