You didn't mention iPhone, iPad and iOS versions though?

Also, iTunes.

Is it an Apple cord, or third party brand?

Did you restart the MBP?

Is there more to this thread or am I missing something?
As I read it you plugged an iPhone and iPad into a device (who's device?). Have these portable devices been synced or backed up to this computer before?
The bottom line here is that you can't plug someone else's portable device into a computer with a different Apole ID. If you could anyone could steal an iPhone, plug it into their computer and download the contents.
What would usually happen is that iTunes would ask you to set it up as a new phone thus erasing and renaming the device assuming it can be unlocked first.
If you want to access/download someone else's music on another computer Family Sharing is the easy way to go.

I just bought another external hard drive for 2 nd back up... Heres what happen with the errors I get

I ve have two tasks ("LeCie HD BkUp" & "WD HD BkUp") that are configured to backup the same source volume to the same destination volume. When these tasks run at the same time, they conflict with each other and these conflicts led to the errors that were reported. that few times in the past...

Hi ron

I'm getting a bit lost here.

Reading your post in isolation, it would seem only natural that running two identical tasks at the same time (same source to same destination) would conflict.

I may be missing crucial info which is leading to my confusion. Can you help me out? I also don't perceive this post with the iTunes problem.

At the risk of inadvertent insult to you, could you spell out what the sources and destinations are and how all this ties in to the iTunes problem, please.

I'm sorry about this - it may just be me:Blushing:

I've posted to your other thread, Ron. No worries. No need to move anything unless the Admins/Mods want to.

You will always get a conflict when running identical tasks at the same time because the Source and Destinations are the same.
