Obviously there are a myriad of games for your iPhone but one of the oldest and most reinvented is Solitaire.
I'm a Free Cell player from way back but I'm always open to a new twist or variation so long as it's not too gimmicky.
Recently I found a new variation called Flip Flop Solitaire from a developer I really like, Zach Gage. I have been playing a word game by this guy for some time called Typeshift.
This Solitaire game has an interesting and refreshingly different interface. Great haptic feedback eliminating the need for sounds at all although that's quite different as well and a really challenging game if you want it to be dependent on the number of suits you use.
What about you? Do you play Solitaire and if so which one?

I like playing Solitaire games but not on my iPhone. Screen is too small and the movements of various item whatever it is you're playing it just too difficult. I have a nice variety of Solitaire and Mah-Jong games that I like to play on my big screen iMac though.

Well I have Solitaire Till Dawn on my MBP, if it still works, but waiting rooms, airports etc are when I play most often. I've found that most good examples on the iPhone are no more difficult to manipulate than using the keyboard and have tap to move options. MobilityWare's Free Cell which I play a lot works really well in landscape mode which makes the cards bigger.

Same for me.

Now that my new phone has a bit more storage than the old one I've added a few programs that I had removed to make space. If either of you use your iPads, give a program called Card Shock Deluxe a try. It has a few versions of Solitaire included as well as several other card games. I have had it for years and the currennt version runs under IOS 12. Haven't put it back on the iPad due to limited space but the interface is nice on the iPad but a bit croowded on the iPhone.

BTW Rod Solitaire Till Dawn Version 1.2.2 (19) runs fine under Mojave. I've had some version of this program on my hard drive for years. Watch out though it's a collossal time waster.

I love Solitaire. I used to play it in waiting rooms when I went with friends places and after shopping waiting for my friends to finish. I will check and see what Solitaire it is. Also love Freecell.

I was able to play both fine on my then old iPhone 3g and later 3gs.

I play most nights on ipad mini in bed - lulls me to sleep. Like Lady Cadogan. Have you tried Churchill? Fiendishly difficult. Used to play Bookworm - got to level 42 (the answer to life , the universe and everything) and called it a day.

LOL, I'm afraid that would put me to sleep real fast. I'm usually up late working on various things anyway but I do like a shoot em up game to keep me awake during those times.
