I have a fairly new BLUE 128 GB iPod Touch.

I have another 128 GB RED iPod Touch that's perhaps a year older than the one above. (This is kept in my exercise bag for the gym.)

About 2-3 days ago my iTunes would not connect to the BLUE iPod.

However the RED iPod connects to iTunes with no issues.

Tried everything I could think of to get the BLUE device to connect but NO LUCK. :Grimmace:

Can anyone suggest anything to assist me? In advance, thank you.

I'm assuming that you have the latest version of iTunes (12.8.0.150) and the latest iOS 12? These are important. And I can't remember from previous posts whether you are running High Sierra or Mojave.

I had a very similar problem recently after upgrading to iOS 12 and the latest iTunes. I posted about this on these Forums.

The final solution was, in my case anyway & directed by Apple Support, was to re-download iTunes. Apparently, there have been many instances, like mine, where the download code was partially corrupted.

You can re-download iTunes from here: https://www.apple.com/uk/itunes/download/

This does NOT interfere in any way with your iTunes library or contents. It merely re-downloads the latest version of iTunes over the existing one.

I suggest you give that a try.
