Facebook app problem

My iPad Air with latest iOS
My Facebook app in settings
Feks. Click on app and web
I get can’t connect this the
same on many settings, have
Tried reset,delete Facebook
app.
Any help would be great

How about other apps on your iPad? Are they OK? And have you tried resetting your iPad? (backup first)

Have you tried accessing Facebook via your web browser?

I ask because there have been all sorts of differing problems with the app which can usually be circumnavigated by going directly to FB through your browser.

chscag all other apps work ok only Facebook problems
what i have done,deleted FB app reinstalled again,
reset ipad, nothing helps my FB acount works well
on my iphone, question if i do a factory
reset via itunes, and reinstall my latest backup afterwards
will all my apps settings and
data be as it is now?

As suspected. It's the app. Scattered reports across the net of the FB app not behaving properly.

Hi Guys
I perchased a new ipad 6 th generation 32gb today
did a manual setup not useing the cloud backup
downloaded the Facebook app tried it same problem.
So FB app not working on 2 ipads but my FB account
works fine on these 2 ipads in a browser but not in a app.
But my iphone 6s plus Facebook app works fine,
this tells me the Facebook app for ipads is defekt.

I believe we told you previously to use Safari to access Facebook and get rid of the Facebook app as it is not secure. Remove the Facebook app from both your iPad and iPhone.
