How to turn off annoying search suggestions above the keyboard ... ? (iOS 11) ...

Hi, everyone - see the screenshot of my phone screen. I'm on iOS 11.

How do I turn off the annoying search suggestions above the keyboard?

I have Siri disabled, etc. Not sure how to turn this annoying feature off.

Please help. Thanks!

I just tried this and it works under IOS 11. On your IOS device go to Settings>General>Keyboard. The "Predictive" setting it probably green (on). If so, toggle it to off. If you want to leave it on but reduce the size of the suggestion bar have a look at these directions. I don't think this feature depends upon whether Siri is turned off or on.

Do you get 'search' suggestions everywhere? Or just on the CNN site.
The screenshot is a little confusing as I can't see why the keyboard would be on screen in that situation.

If they are everywhere go to Settings - Siri & Search and make sure Suggestions in Search and Suggestions in Lookup are off.
