I was wondering if I need to install an ad blocker on my iPhone 6S and if you have one that you can recommend? Lately I have been having ads pop up, yesterday I saw one with a bug crawling across the bottom of my phone. Thanks,

Two that I use which seem to be effective are: "Blockr" and "AdMop", both available from the iTunes app store. However, there are probably a dozen to choose from, so you might want to read the reviews first.
