It's not so bad as that. It's that there are micro-climates within a 15 mile radius of where one lives. Wales, in general, has a varied weather pattern; but "North Wales" is a largish area with huge variations in weather on a daily basis.
The major weather apps lump us altogether - apps that are well thought of elsewhere, eg, Weather pro, Met Office, Weather Live, Rain Today, Dark Sky, Apple's Weather, Weather:Weather forecast - vie with each for individuality.
They all seek to be different.
Anyway, having lived in Manchester, UK, for 29 years, there is no where wetter, summer or winter. So, we are blessed, where we live now.
