thoughts on ipod touch games?

The main reason I am going to get a ipod touch is for the games. What do you guys think of them? are the racing, fps and action games that are on there competitive with say the psp or dsi? They look really good and there seems to be a lot of game support for the ipod touch.

Some very good games.

GTA Chinatown, N.O.V.A, Zombieville USA, Scramble, COD WaW Zombies, and a couple others that escape me are some good ones I've played.

I do believe there are a couple of very good racing games, though getting used to playing a racing game on the iPod Touch takes some time.

Well I am glad to here that cause I am tired of having to carry a mp3 player and a seperat gaming device when I leave to go places. in your opinion what is the best fps on it?

I got my wife a "Touch" for Christmas..and right now she has about 6-7 pages of "apps"...and about 4 of those pages are free game apps that she has collected since Christmas.

Most of them are pretty good...especially since they were free. But these "free" games were only free for 24 hours...and then they reverted back to an "app" you have to pay for.

So they are good quality games. Some have more "depth" to them than others...but all are fun....time wasters!

I think you pretty much have to try the game apps for yourself to determine if you think they are better than "PSP" games...or do some reading of reviews before you purchase a game app.

I have acutaully been looking up the more serious games on there and then going to look them on you tube and I must say I am quiet impressed with the quality of games that is going onto a apple product.
