Hello.

Is it possible to change the sorting order i iTunes?
Because i have some problems with this.
I marked the "Album Artist" column and for the most the order is ok, but it seems that it shows all the same name from "Album Artist" but sorting them with the "Artist" order.

See picture here:

Is it possible to sorting after my own order?
Like:
1. Album Artist
2. Album
3. Track No.

Thx in advance

Maybe this one explain better:

(outdated link removed)

As you can see when pushing "Album Artist" the "Artist" overrules the track no. sorting criteria.

I would like to use "Album Artist" as first sorting criteria and then the track no as second and not the "Artist".

Is this possible???

If you mean the actual order that the columns are in, you can drag a column in front or behind other columns.

OR

if what you mean by organizing your music manually, press ⌘+, (literally hit ⌘ along with the comma key) and click the Advanced tab, and uncheck the box that says "Keep iTunes Music folder organized". I hope I was on the same page as you.

Thanx but where is the "⌘" button on a PC? :D

Ahh ok, i went into the Preferences and Advanced tab and it was already unchecked.
I don't have the files copied on a folder but manually added them from an external drive, without copiyng them to the "iTune music folder"
