Hi David,

I'm sorry that you have had to wait so long for a response; and mine won't help much:smile

I think the reason is that there may not be that many in the UK with TalkTalk who are also members of this Forum.

I have a close friend in Anglesey who has TalkTalk for everything; but she is no gauge of their service for several reasons: Anglesey is not South Wales (Broadband Speed poor because most houses get their telephone service via old wires).

She is elderly, her needs are modest and the TalkTalk equipment is a few years old.

My objection to TalkTalk relates to their being hacked 3 times in 18 months with massive loss of personal data. The CEO refused to resign. This may be in the past now, but.......

I have been with BT for ever it seems. Their tariffs and service are as good or as bad as the rest.

None of this helps much, I know; but at least you've had a reply and this will push your post to the top of the pile of New Posts.

Ian.Many thanks for your thoughts on my issue. I did phone EE regarding the problem and no luck. But I must say about EE never had any problems with them one big prob is paying the monthly bill.
before the EE come about the internet provider was collected wanaddo then Orange now its EE.
after the telephone call to the EE I think I will stay with them for a while longer.
Many thanks once again.
David.

I was with TalkTalk for almost 20 years with few problems, but changed to Vodaphone 12 months ago because they then wanted £27.50 per month, fibre broadband/phone line only. Was lowered to £25 when I demurred. Paying £21 per month with Vodaphone, no issues at all.

Try USwitch for the best deal for your needs - and if you use TopCashBack you will get £30 back.
