I can use this hard disk with mac and I can save files in it. However, something going wrong when I try use this hard disk with time machine. I formatted HD to Mac OS Extended (JOURNALED).

I chick the HD by disk utilities and did a first aid, everything is ok. I earse HD and I still have same problem.

When I try to do back up Time machine, after one minutes, there is a message appear (Disk Not Ejected Properly) "Eject HD before disconnecting or turning it off"

I tried to use another cable but I still have same problem. I updated mac from macOS Sierra to macOS Mojave version 10.14 and still have same problem. Could you help please :(

Use Disk Utility, and make sure the external has the GUID partition scheme. Some times, when an external is originally formatted for Windows, they have a Master Boot Record partition scheme. Also, another thing to look at while in DU, is the View menu and confirm Show All Devices is selected.
