I am looking to control my mini from my iPad. We moved some things around, an now my wife and I share a desk for both of our PC’s. I want to be able to do things on my mini while she is using her winOS PC. What is the best solution? I know about TeamViewer (TV), but was wondering if there is a better solution? I loved and used logmein when it was free, but not anymore. I can’t seem to control TV in the same way, what am I missing?

Would Microsoft Remote Desktop work, or is that only for control of winOS PC’s?

I don’t want to have to go to my mini and start TV, in order to make this possible each time, especially while she’s doing her work?

I used ot use this program and liked to quite a bit. It has been around for quite a while. I tried several other similar programs but this seems to be the only one left in my mobile apps archive.

To use your iPad as a monitor, simply connect it to your Mac using a standard Lightning or 30-pin cable (I use an Amazon Basics one, mostly because it's black …) and launch the Duet app on your iPad

I really haven't tried this since I started this thread. I was able to use TeamViewer once or twice. I'm just not willing to spend money on it. The screen is too small, for me to be productive enough, to validate the expense.

Thanks for everyones replies.
