ATV Recognises my wifi but can't connect

My 3rd gen Apple tv is not connecting to my wifi although it does find my network and even shows full signal strength!

I've retyped the password several times, as well as restarted the apple tv several times but not luck. Anyone else have this problem? Better yet, anyone have a solution?

Performa 6116 2GBSCSI 8MB OS 7.5.3
If your WIFI is WEP then change it to WPA2.

If you already are WPA2 then try a passphrase that is alpha characters only. Or try an open network to see if you can connect. If you still cannot connect then try looking for a firmware update for your WAP or Router.
